While any shop can claim to restore or build a car, ASE has proven itself by having vehicles judged and winning national events in the USA (such as best muscle car at the Detroit Autorama, Carlisle events, etc), published on magazine covers with feature articles, reference and coffee table books and displayed in many museums including the Canadian national Museum of Science and Technology.
Al Stigter, owner operator, is living the dream and is renowned in the field of restoration and preservation of muscle and classic cars.
ASE Motorsports is a classic car restoration and special interest vehicles shop located in Ottawa, ON. ASE is not a collision or repair shop that tries to restore a muscle car on the side or when it gets slow.
Not only do we restore Mopars, we own and drive them on a regular basis. You can always see an example of our work by looking at one of the many Mopars we own.

Custom Restoration
Almost all work is done in house; from stripping to media blasting, metal fabrication and repair, body and paint application, to component restoration and installation. Each project is done to the owners specifications and standards.
Many projects are just body and paint with the owner opting to do the final re-assembly.
Occasionally we’ll work on some other neat stuff, as the website photos will show, but we are muscle car owners and enthusiasts.
Customized projects are treated enthusiastically.
